A guide to the
Treatments we offer
We maintain the very best standards of hygeine and sterilisation, the highest code of ethics and conduct and keep up to date with the latest developments and technology in the industry. Our therapists are highly qualified and put love, passion, commitment, healing and professionalism into every treatment given.
A chemical peel is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve the appearance of your skin.
Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on your neck, hands and other areas of the body. Sun exposure, acne or just getting older can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred.
Dermapen’s advanced skin needling technology uses multiple needles that vertically pierce the skin with an automatic vibrating function. When moved across the skin’s surface it stimulates natural collagen production, whilst allowing fine channels to be created in the skin.
The channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for treatment delivery deep into the skin’s fibroblasts to feed the underlying cells found in the dermis and basal layer.
This increased absorption of active ingredients into the skin creates stimulated repair and faster resurfacing results.
By using a blade, dead skin cells and unwanted hair is removed from the face allowing excellent product penetration and better results in any treatment to follow especially prior to skin peels.
This non-invasive method for removing thread veins / capillaries and superficial blue veins on the legs is extremely effective with very little down time.
It works by shutting down the feeder veins which create the red capillaries to dilate, thus stopping the blood supply so superficially and redirecting it to the deeper vessels. It is minimally uncomfortable and requires between 4 and 10 treatments depending on the severity of the problem.
IPL is used for permanent hair reduction on all Fitzpatrick Skin types and takes from 6 to 10 treatments, spaced according to the area being treated.
and skin rejuvenation treating brown (pigmented) and red (capillaries) lesions, including sun damage, Rosacea, premature aging, sensitivity, acne and pigmentation.
The secondary effect of IPL is the increase of collagen up to 94% creating reduction in pore size and firming of the skin.
Microblading is not new, in fact it is the oldest form of permanent make-up, it a manual method of permanent make-up which creates hair stokes. Hair strokes can be created using a manual tool or a machine. What is new is the tool that we use to do microblading and the name given to the treatment. However, don’t think that it is something completely different.
In fact what you must know is that it is an advanced method of permanent make-up and it is imperative that the technician has done full training in PMU in order to know how to microblade.
Unfortunately some people think they can learn this art in 3 days and I can assure you, as an experienced trainer since 1990, you cannot become proficient in 3 days without full knowledge and training of all the modalities of PMU.
It is quite common to use several techniques when doing a treatment which may include machine work with a nano needle or single bar needle as well as some form of shading and microblading.
Permanent make-up allows a person’s natural features to be enhanced so they can wake-up with definition. It camouflages scars, areas of depigmentation, and recreates areolas and nipples.
Cryotherapy is a freezing technique using Nitrous Oxide (similar to liquid nitrogen) to freeze the lesions off.
The eMatrix system’s ergonomic applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating in the region of the electrode matrix to induce skin injury, thus eliciting a wound healing response. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to tighter, rejuvenated appearance of the skin.
After treatment with the eMatrix system for Sublative Rejuvenation, most patients showed improvement in facial parameters such as skin brightness (83%) and skin smoothness/wrinkle reduction (90%).
The Lamprobe is a multi-dynamic instrument for non-invasive and minimally-invasive, bloodless surgical removal of skin lesions.
Epidermal lesions, within the scope of practice of the Somatologist, can be safely and effectively removed on all skin types with selected probes.
Surgeons, Dermatologists and Doctors specialising in aesthetic medicine ensure extremely effective, minimally-invasive management of superficial to deep dermal lesions, with minimal co-lateral tissue damage and speedy tissue recovery, using the Lamprobe.
The future of skin care is moving away from invasive, burning devices that scar or pigment the skin. Clients and patients expect optimal results in era of advanced technology. The Lamprobe delivers results every time.
TriPollar technology painlessly delivers focused and optimal RF energy to the skin surface and to subcutaneous fat layers. Controlled energy is delivered via three or more electrodes , centered between them, and limited only to the treatment area. This focused delivery results in improved treatment efficacy that provides immediate visible results from the 1st treatment. The treatment is painless and pleasant because of the relatively low power needed.
TriPollar integrated preset parameters allow practitioners to choose between body and/or facial treatments. Targeted facial treatment regenerates collagen fibers in the dermis layer. Targeted body treatments shrink fat cells in the hypodermis layer and accelerate collagen regeneration.
MesoJet – A needleless injection to get active ingredients into the dermal tissue
Needle Free Technology injectors use CO2 or compressed air to propel a microjet of liquid six times smaller than a 30-gauge needle through the skin. Instead of feeling the piercing pain of the needle, the patient only feels a slight pressure as the propelled liquid passes through the skin. Jet injection is 6 x smaller than a 30g needle. 33g needle the smallest in general medical use.
The benefit of this technology is less pain, more injections possible, better distribution of the active ingredient as seen below:
Using needle-free technology combined with Fusion Meso, an international market-leading aesthetic cosmeceutical company, we can inject into the desired layer of the dermis to fight the signs of ageing, treat various skin conditions, change your skin on a cellular level and allow your skin to heal within. Over time, your skin will slowly utilize the nutrients injected to reverse the signs of ageing and ultimately, a younger and healthier-looking you.
